A bridge between Mauritania's mineral wealth and international capital.

Mauritania is the unfinished page of West African mining. Gold, copper, iron ore, lithium, uranium and hydrocarbons sit under one of the least-mapped mining frontiers on the continent, anchored by SNIM, Africa's longest-running industrial iron-ore producer (since the 1960s).

MauriSync, founded in 2023 in Nouakchott by mining engineer Rabia Ghaly, sits at the intersection of engineering, entrepreneurship and industrial policy. A vantage point shaped by years inside Africa's largest open-pit gold operations.

Capital alone doesn't move ground.

Successfully operating in frontier markets requires more than technical expertise and capital. It requires local understanding, trusted relationships, operational coordination, and the ability to navigate realities on the ground efficiently and responsibly.

In sectors such as mining and energy, execution challenges often arise from regulatory processes, logistics, stakeholder alignment, communication gaps, and limited local operational visibility.

MauriSync supports international partners through local insight, strategic coordination, and on-the-ground support tailored to the Mauritanian market. Our role is to help companies better understand the operating environment, facilitate local engagement, and support smoother project execution from early-stage evaluation through operational development.
